Our Test Lead will not only execute testing, they own quality. You will coach teams, define test strategies, streamline automation, and ensure that every release meets the standards our customers depend on. If you want to influence both technology and ways of working, this is the role for you!
About the job
As a Test Lead at Telavox, you help our development teams secure the correct level of quality in our platform, applications, and releases, supporting our install base and our SLAs.
You will take end-to-end ownership of the team’s test strategy, coach engineers in quality best practices, and create visibility around the state of quality at all times. You’ll collaborate closely with engineering teams, product managers, and Customer Service Delivery to ensure smooth releases and reliable user experiences.
Your day-to-day work may include:
Coaching developers and teams on how to work with QA (test types, best practices, automation frameworks, etc.)
Owning and evolving the test strategy for your team
Ensuring a known and transparent quality status at all times
Acting as the interface to Customer Service Delivery for testing and quality updates
Being hands-on in test execution, exploratory testing, and test automation
Setting up and continuously improving our test infrastructure and tooling
Supporting teams in finding the balance between Good Enough and Perfect to maximize customer value
This role is based at our new vibrant HQ, Gjuteriet, located in Västra Hamnen, Malmö
About you
You are a proactive, solution-oriented Test Lead who enjoys guiding teams toward better quality outcomes. You combine a strong technical background with a collaborative mindset and know how to make quality an integrated part of the development cycle. You thrive in dynamic environments where reliability and speed must coexist.
Key skills and experience we are looking for:
Several years of experience as a Test Lead in a software organization
Deep experience with test automation in the relevant tech stack and event-driven architectures
Strong knowledge of test frameworks, automation tools, and QA best practices
Hands-on, able to teach by doing, not just telling
Strong ability to collaborate with engineers, managers, and stakeholders
Proactive, solution-oriented communicator with a customer-first mindset
Empathy for end users, with a clear understanding of when quality is “good enough”
Experience working in SaaS environments is a plus
