YAAAAAAY, Telavox is growing both in existing and new markets, through M&A and new products and therefore we want to take our (already awesome) development department to the next level!

We’re looking for a Director Engineering that wants to help us build the best-in-class UCaaS/CCaaS, integrate engineering teams from our acquired companies and further grow a great development department organically.

Telavox has a successful and growing development department consisting of almost 100 happy campers (+45 eNPS) with the focus of developing, maintaining and improving our great product that helps our +400 000 users globally to communicate both with their customers and internally every day.


We have been growing and doing a lot of good stuff in recent years, but there is so much more ahead of us: An international quest to make us a global UCaaS player, continue to take our product to the next level and what other challenges will be around the corner.

We expect to grow to +200 engineers over the coming years. As we grow, you will develop your role to a more strategic position by establishing a strong leadership team, excellent processes, a smile and a can-do attitude in every Telavoxer you bump into. We are super excited, do you want in?


What you will be doing

  • Overall responsibility for the development department with nearly 100 employees. Including building, developing and maintaining the company's technical operations, product platform and operating environment.
  • Lead 5-10 direct reports.
  • Set and follow up on development targets and prioritizations aligned with Telavox overall growth agenda.
  • Maintain and continue to develop the great Telavoxy culture where engineers thrive.
  • Ensure the right engineering processes and methodologies.
  • Lead the organizational development and change management agenda.
  • Be a part of M&A integrations, with a focus on developing product gaps and integrating engineering teams.

You will be reporting to the Chief Operating Officer and be a member of the global management team.

About you

Our dream hire for this position has a good understanding of all aspects of software engineering, a growth attitude and an eagerness to contribute to Telavox expansion strategy.

In order to do so, we believe you have great experience from a leading role within software engineering organizations. You have an MSc. in Engineering (preferably computer science, industrial economy or similar). Experience from growth-oriented/fast-paced agile companies, ideally combined with an international organization will be a great advantage.

To thrive in this role we believe you have a sound mix of understanding both business and technology, and you really enjoy moving in between those two fields. Data, of course, comes naturally to you and you use it to back your or others ideas.
